DANCES OF OFFERING

|
Pegasus Studios proudly presents the 10th annual Dances of Offering Benefit Concert. Each year Pegasus faculty and students bring members of the Toronto dance community together to celebrate and give back to our city through an evening of dance. This year we are raising money for the Paediatric Ambulatory Clinic at Toronto East General Hospital. Please join as at the Betty Oliphant Theatre on Jarvis Street on Sunday February 12th at 5:00 pm.
Dances of Offering is a unique show in that it combines the talents of student dancers with professional choreographers and performers in both public productions and school shows. This year we are honoured to have two time Dora award winner, Nicola Pantin, along with up and coming choreographer Jessica Houghton, and the wonderful students of Earl Haig/Claude Watson and Father Redmond performance arts schools. The 2012 show also features choreography from influential dance artists and educators, Janice Pomer, Bonnie Gaztambide, Melissa So and performances by Georgia Leung and Lisa Weiler, Youth Ensemble from City Dance Corps, Heryka Miranda and Rebecca Beayni Apolonia Velasquez, co-artist director of Gadfly Dance and others.
What began as a small student produced show has turned into an eagerly anticipated event to warm up the cold February month. We, at Pegasus Studios, are immensely proud and excited about this year’s line up and we hope to see you there.
